Wilwood master cylinder firewall mounting plates are specifically designed to work with Wilwood's forward mount brake and clutch pedal assembly, and flange-mounted compact remote master cylinders. They allow precision mounting of the pedal and master cylinders to the firewall, leaving the engine compartment with a high-tech, professionally installed look. These plates recess the master cylinder mounting surface by 1/4 in., which allows for more clearance in the engine bay. Both the engine compartment faceplate and interior side mounting plate are media burnished billet aluminum. Wilwood master cylinder firewall mounting plates are designed to accept a firewall material thickness range of .040-.080 in. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel 12 pt. fasteners and detailed instructions are included to complete the installation.

The S2000 clutch master cylinder is great for many reasons—but is certainly a worthwhile upgrade to those with a 1992-2000 Honda© Civic or 1994-20001 Acura© Integra. The OEM CMC for those cars uses a remotely mounted reservoir which can fade and leak over time. Eventually, the OEM line that connects them will fail, which results in corrosive fluid spills and a car that can't move. The S2000 CMC solves that problem by mounting the reservoir directly onto the master cylinder. Clean up your engine bay and enjoy more reliable, better-feeling gear changes at the same time. In order to use the CMC in the EG/EK/DC2, you'll need to run a spacer that corrects the rod and clevis length discrepancy. Hybrid Racing CMC spacers have been tested in race cars for months—and also include a very nice foam seal that will keep water and debris from getting into your cabin. Hybrid Racing suggests using either HYB-CLI-01-02 (if using K20Z1/Z3 slave cylinder) or HYB-CLI-01-08 (if using the K20A/A2/A3 slave cylinder.) If you do not have a K-Series engine, you can still use this part but may need to find a clutch line that works. For the ultimate control on the street or track, dual master cylinders with an adjustable balance bar allow brake bias to be fine-tuned to conditions and driver preference. Wilwood provides you with the ability to have that ultimate control with their master cylinders and tandem mount balance bar kits. The kits feature a tandem mount balance bar assembly offered with or without eyelet and paired with either two high-volume, aluminum master cylinders or two compact, remote flange master cylinders for those with limited space applications but requiring the output capacity of a full-size master cylinder. The tandem mount balance bar assembly (with or without eyelet) give modified street cars and trucks the precision-control usually reserved for race vehicles. Each one is a lightweight, forged billet aluminum assembly that bolts to the firewall, replacing the tandem master cylinder with a balance bar and sturdy dual master cylinder mounts for two race-type vertical bolt pattern master cylinders, with no custom fabrication needed. You can easily adjust brake bias with the included knob and the bar assembly is designed with oval mounting holes for 3.22 in. to 3.40 in. on-center studs for a wide variety of vehicle fitments. Wilwood's high-volume aluminum master cylinders feature high-pressure, diecast bodies with the highest fluid capacity of any integral reservoir design. With a total capacity of 8.2 oz., there is at least 26 percent more fluid volume than other brands, and more fluid volume means cooler temperatures and additional insurance for extreme conditions where high pad wear can compromise fluid levels during long events. The 1 7/16 in. piston travel offers plenty of margin when used with large 4- or 6-piston calipers and the heavy-duty internal springs provide fast retraction. Formed steel lids with bellows-type gaskets keep the moisture out. Wilwood's compact remote flange master cylinders have ultra-short 3.37 in. black e-coated aluminum bodies to provide 2.16 in. of additional clearance between the mounting flange and the fluid outlet. A full 1.12 in. of piston stroke meets or exceeds the stroke capacity of most full size cylinders, and with a 1/8 in. NPT fluid outlet port located at the top radius of the cylinder bore, the chance for trapped air is reduced. An enhanced fluid inlet port allows mounting of the standard reservoir included and also contains 11/16 in.-20 internal threads for custom reservoir arrangements.
