Johnson's Hot Rod Shop offers drum brake kits for a variety of applications. These rear brake kits are designed to work with a 9 in. Ford rear-end axle running the new style Torino big bearing flange with a 2.5 in. brake space. They utilize a 10 in. drum brake assembly with 2 in. brake shoes. The look of the original Kinmont Safe Stop brakes is prized by hot rodders everywhere. What's often forgotten is that they're terrible at stopping a car. EBC Organic Brake Shoes
