The factory GT intake manifold had a plastic coolant crossover that eventually cracked over time, causing increased heat and wear to your engine. Ford Performance has now updated this intake manifold with a new runner design and tooling used to bring back a PI intake manifold. One of the largest improvements was to update the gaskets on the intake to more modern integrated O-ring seals for an easy installation without extra gaskets needed. Another major improvement was the change to an all-aluminum coolant crossover with two sensor bungs, which works with multiple applications.
