Next, their intakes are made of high-quality aluminum--not heat-absorbing plastic. Their intake tubes have a ceramic coating both inside and out to reduce heat soak, as well as to keep radiant heat from penetrating the intake air. And they've applied 3/8 in. thermal insulation inside the air box to prevent heat transfer from the engine bay. Each cold air intake is TIG-welded by hand and powdercoated, plus the air box lids feature a clear viewing window for easier filter inspection. With these mandrel-bent 45 or 90 degree elbows, air charge piping or intakes are easily constructed. The elbows are also very suitable for welding with their 1.5mm wall thickness. They're available in a wide range of lengths, air intake tube diameters and radius sizes.

These straight tubing couplers are available in a variety of lengths and inlet/outlet diameters. Select the ones needed for your project. Please note: Boost silicone hoses have a good tolerance, so even 1 to 2mm smaller or larger silicone hoses will fit on the connector. As a general rule: diameter Boost Products silicone hose (inner) = diameter aluminum connector (outer).
