Performance Design Carbon pTR intake manifolds combine high-quality materials into a flexible and powerful tunnel ram architecture. PA6GF30 glass-reinforced nylon (lower) and 5-layer carbon fiber (upper) shells combine for lightweight, strong, and heat-resistant performance. Offering unique modular velocity stacks enabling 6 1/2 in. to 9 in. runners, multiple accessory port and sensor options along with other custom features, these high-performance manifolds offer easy configuring for a variety of hot rod builds, and can even be reversed on the engine. The plenums feature high-strength carbon fiber with high-temperature epoxy for improved strength-to-weight ratio and reduced heat soak to the fresh air charge. The polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the cylinder heads and hides all the ports/sensors in the valley. This combination of materials offers a 10 lbs. weight savings over competitive aluminum tunnel ram manifolds. These custom assemblies are designed for resto-mod, off-road race trucks, race boats, and hot rods where hood clearance is not an issue (they will not fit under late model vehicle hoods). You'd be crazy to throw water into a gas tank and expect to get anywhere—but power and torque can be increased if you inject it into the incoming air charge with Nitrous Express water/methanol injection systems. Cooling the air charge allows for increased timing and the resulting performance benefits. These versatile units have a wide-open throttle switch for naturally aspirated vehicles and an adjustable boost-activated switch for forced induction models. Nitrous Express systems inject a fixed amount of fluid when the WOT switch or boost is activated—and continues until the switch opens again. They reduce intake temperatures and the need for timing retard when used with nitrous. Stage II kits come complete with a high-output pump, 3 qt. reservoir, nozzle, boost activated progressive controller, switch, hardware, and detailed instructions. Nitrous Outlet EFI single nozzle systems come with more jets to set horsepower exactly where you want it. They include everything needed to add horsepower to your late model EFI vehicle--hardware, wiring, jetting, solenoids, hoses, and a nozzle.
