ZZPerformance turbo blankets offer several advantages, primarily focusing on heat management and performance optimization. They insulate the turbocharger, reducing heat soak and protecting surrounding components, while also improving turbo efficiency by keeping exhaust gases hotter. This can lead to faster turbo spool-up, increased boost, and reduced turbo lag. ZZPerformance turbo blankets come in several different styles. Please refer to the list below to assist with your selection. Types of turbo blankets styles: * ZZP's Ecotec Turbo Blanket: Designed to only fit Ecotec (LNF/LSJ/LE5/L61) variants of their Z54, Z57, ZFR 6758, and ZFR 7163 turbo upgrades with internal wastegates (will NOT fit LTG versions of these turbos due to wastegate canister and arm routing) * ZZP's Z04 Turbo Blanket: An easy upgrade to your vehicle equipped with their Z04 turbo for the 1.4T; they designed this turbo blanket to fully cover and capture heat from the "turbofold" and exhaust housing on the Z04 * ZZP's T3 Turbo Blanket: An easy upgrade to your vehicle equipped with a T3 style turbo Advantages of using ZZP's turbo blankets (all styles): * Thermal protection for other components within your engine bay—by isolating the heat of the turbine housing within the blanket, other components experience less overall heat, such as fuel lines or cooling system components * Decrease overall turbo spool time—turbo blankets are designed to keep heat in, which in turn increases exhaust temps (making the gas more expansive) and increases turbine efficiency * Keeps your pre-turbo intake temps down—by isolating heat to the turbine side and keeping overall under-hood temps down, any portion of the intake track will see less ambient heat; this is especially helpful in a stock style intake system where the filter is in the engine bay; cooler pre-turbo temps means more dense air=more power

Make your engine bay look better without sacrificing performance or airflow design with one of ZZP's Sonic/Cruse 1.4T turbo heatshields. ZZP designed their Sonic/Cruze 1.4T turbo heatshields with some airflow channels and a duct so the OEM airflow design of the sonic, pulling air from the lower grille and routing it upwards above the engine via fans and bay design, remains. Your intake and other components will be protected, as well as your hands when tinkering in the bay, but both the turbo and manifold still have plenty of venting to release internal heat as quickly as possible. If you added some sort of venting on your hood this would add even more benefit as it would directly pull heat from the manifold/turbo area via your added duct. Available in raw stainless or satin black finish. Additional product features: * Precision laser-cut stainless steel and bent for the perfect fit * Pre-assembled two-piece heatshield comes with all new hardware to mount into your engine bay * Available in two different finishes: raw stainless or satin black Cerakote Note: For 1.4's equipped with ZZP's Z04 turbo kit, this part will fit over the turbo and bolt to the engine, but you will not be able to use the third mounting point on the turbo. Designed around OEM turbo specifications, it should be a direct fit on OEM turbos and ZZP's V3 turbo.
