When the vehicle's horn button is pressed, the valve becomes electrically energized, opening the valve, permitting air to reach the horn. The solenoid remains engaged as long as the horn button is depressed. The valves have brass fittings making installation easy and leak-free, to 1/4 in. O.D. high-pressure air hose (hose not included).
