UniSteer 1967-69 Camaro/1968-74 Nova Rack and Pinion Kits

UniSteer Camaro/Nova rack and pinion kits are superior steering components designed with racers in mind. They're engineered to match the factory geometry for specific Chevy model years—resulting in no-bump steering. These racks come mounted on a custom bracket that makes installation a breeze. The unit mounts to the rear of the crossmember, bolting to the lower stock control arm bolts. The outer tie rod ends are bolted to the stock steering arms; no fabrication is required. Compact and lightweight, the parts offer maximum ground clearance and can drop up to 65 lbs. off the stock front end. UniSteer rack and pinion kits also include outer tie rods, mounting bracket, hardware, and instruction sheet for installation. Order the conversion kit tailored for fitment on your vehicle. Unisteer Performance Headers

UniSteer Performance headers are aftermarket exhaust components designed for classic cars, designed to work with UniSteer's rack and pinion steering kits for specific vehicles. They're built to provide better exhaust flow, engine performance, and clearance by replacing bulky stock exhaust manifolds with tuned, compact "shorty" style headers. They help resolve fitment issues often encountered when upgrading steering systems, improving both horsepower and aesthetics. Key features: * Performance: Tuned for better exhaust scavenging, helping the engine "breathe" better for more power * Compatibility: Engineered to fit within the tight confines of classic cars, especially alongside UniSteer's rack and pinion steering setups, often requiring less modification than other headers * Design: Typically "shorty" style, made from steel, ceramic-coated for durability and looks, and designed for easy installation with included hardware * Material and finish: Made from 16-gauge steel, often with a silver ceramic coating for heat resistance and a clean look * Why use a Performance header? -- Clearance: Solves clearance problems with steering boxes, racks, and frames, which is crucial for classic car swaps -- Performance upgrade: An easy bolt-on to improve exhaust flow over stock manifolds -- Aesthetics: Offer a cleaner, more performance-oriented look under the hood
