UMI Performance Front Non-Adjustable Lower A-Arms
A lightweight setup capable of handling everyday street abuse! UMI Performance front non-adjustable lower A-arms remove 5 1/2 lbs. from of the front of your vehicle, while adding increased ride quality and reducing bushing deflection. These suspension control arms are supplied with new greaseable ball joints installed, polyurethane or Delrin® bushings, and sway bar mounting provisions. The A-arm replacements are fabricated using 1.250 in. drawn-over-mandrel tubing and CNC-machined ball joint holders. They feature both MIG and TIG welding for the utmost in product strength. UMI Performance Competition Front End Kits
Tremendous front grip and a host of features can be yours with UMI Performance Competition front-end kits. The included A-arm kit enables 10 degrees caster while maintaining standard track width and wheelbase. Lower A-arms are assembled with tall lower ball joints to optimize roll center, camber gain, and center of gravity. Lower A-arms feature Delrin bushings for smooth travel and bind-free performance. The new lower A-arm works in conjunction with the included adjustable upper arm—which features minimum shim adjustability, Pro Forged ball joints, and super-smooth PTFE lined rod ends. The front sway bar attaches using UMI's swivel-style end link design and double shear mounting system. The included Viking Crusader coilover shocks mount to the lower A-arm in double shear quick-change brackets. The lower shock mount is removable to allow spring and shock changes at the track. UMI's kit features Viking Crusader shocks with AT pro-touring valving (high rebound tie-down for road race and autocross) and a true 2.5 in. racing coilover. The upper stud mount fits in the factory location, while the lower is optimized to fit UMI's 3057-1 coilover lower A-arm. Some grinding is required for installation in the upper frame spring bucket. UMI Performance Body Repair Washers
UMI Performance body repair washers are cut to fit the factory mount for the front core support, as well as the front and rear cab mounts (common rust areas on older GM trucks). After you've removed the cab or core support, use these repair mounts as templates to lay out the areas to be cut. Then, following some cutting, welding, and grinding, your repaired mount areas will be ready for paint to help prevent future rust. Restore your GM truck frame to like-new condition with an assist from UMI Performance body repair washers.

UMI Performance 1978-88 GM G-Body Brake Conversion Kits
UMI Performance 1978-88 GM G-Body brake conversion kits include laser-cut UMI conversion brackets, lightweight aluminum hubs, and premium bearings—everything needed to adapt the C5/C6 abutment brackets, calipers, and rotors to the G-Body spindles. The hub features 5 x 4 1/2 and 5 x 4 3/4 bolt patterns and is intended to face mount the C5/C6 brake rotor in exact factory location (front track width is unaffected). Each kit includes premium bearing cups and cones, along with the correct rawhide seal for great performance and reliability. These conversion kits are the choice for UMI's Green Machine and have been thoroughly tested to withstand road race and Auto-X competition. They fit a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles from the 1970s and '80s. Kit includes: UMI conversion brackets, driver and passenger side aluminum hubs, correct bearings and seals to mount the C5/C6 calipers and abutment brackets. Additional details: Wheel studs are not included. 1/2 in.-20 threaded studs will be required to complete installation. Determine stud length after choosing wheel and considering offset, whether or not spacers are required, and after determining wheel flange thickness. Kit requires C5 or C6 calipers, rotors, brake pads and brake lines. A detailed list of GM part numbers is included. Now fits Wilwood SLC56 caliper. Does NOT fit Blazer spindle. UMI Performance control arm relocation brackets reposition your instant center by changing your lower control arm angle for improved traction. UMI Performance control arm relocation brackets lower the rear of the control arm by up to 3 in. and are a must for all lowered vehicles to correct lost suspension geometry. These relocation brackets have two settings to allow the lower control arm to be lowered either 2 in. or 3 in., depending on your preference. Settings are placed in a correct pattern that will allow for the use of all OEM control arms or any aftermarket control arm (brackets do not require a longer control arm).

UMI Performance 1978-88 GM G-Body Brake Conversion Brackets
UMI brake conversion brackets are designed to mount 1997-2013 C5 or C6 front calipers and rotors to the 1978-88 GM G-Body factory spindle. Conversion brackets are CNC laser-cut from 3/8 in. thick mild steel and feature a heavy-duty black powdercoat finish. Each kit includes Grade 10.9 mounting hardware and complete detailed installation instructions. The instructions include a detailed list of GM part numbers needed to complete the brake grade upgrade. Note, 17 in. wheels are needed for C5 brakes, and 18 in. wheels for C6. As with all UMI Performance products, these brackets are 100 percent manufactured, tested, and raced out of Philipsburg, PA.
