Transmission Specialties 4L80E 300M Extended Spline Input Shafts
Transmission Specialties' 4L80E 300M extended spline input shafts have all the latest and greatest updates that make them the strongest on the market. Feed hole changes have been made to make the shaft stronger. The splines that go into the OD planet have been lengthened and the undercut shoulder which has a very small inside diameter, has been removed. TSI also used a hobb to cut this spline—as compared to others who single point cut, which makes for a weaker spline and is considered to be the number one spot of failure for other aftermarket billet shafts. Crafted from premium-grade 300M material, the 4L80E input shafts are engineered to be more durable than traditional shafts, ensuring reliable and consistent performance, even under extreme loads. The extended design offers increased spline engagement into the OD planet, reducing the chance of shaft failure and improving overall strength. Transmission Specialties TH400 SFI bellhousings are intended for racing applications. Bellhousing is lightweight and specifically engineered with an open bottom to allow for converter access, reduced diameter to give you better floorboard clearance, and a contoured flange to match the rear of your engine block.
