Tilton Flow Control Valves

These Tilton flow control valves work by restricting the return flow of the hydraulic fluid by a tunable amount, reducing shock loads to the driveline by allowing the clutch to slip slightly during engagement. They do not restrict flow during release. The shock load is a result of an abrupt clutch engagement when the crankshaft and input shaft speeds are not precisely matched. The Tilton Flow control valves are designed to reduce the risk of traction loss when downshifting and reduce the chance of damaging driveline components.
