Summit Racing Trapezoidal Tech Pistons and Connecting Rods are designed for high boost and high rpm and the first to be designed as a matching system. Compression and tension loads are analyzed to maximize the Wrist-Pin's required bearing area where it's needed most. The resulting pin is Shorter/Stiffer/Lighter and the piston becomes lighter and stronger as well.. This reduces loads on the rods, bearings and crank for increased durability and saves on balancing costs.
