Summit Racing™ introduces its MAX-efi 500 Fuel Injector System, the most efficient way to convert your carbureted engine to premier EFI performance. These self-tuning throttle body units bolt directly to most 4-barrel manifolds; then, through their wideband oxygen sensor, the systems continually adjust fuel delivery to provide the optimum air/fuel ratio under all climate and altitude conditions. MAX-efi will support up to 500 hp, and the self-learning ECU allows for easy tuning. With safety in mind, these systems are also designed with a self-adjusting "limp home" mode to protect your engine if a sensor fails. In addition, they include a data-logging feature to track the system while it's running to ensure optimal performance. Summit Racing™ Pro LS Automotive cams are affordable and designed in stages with very specific cam timing for each individual application in cathedral and rectangle port versions. This ensures maximum performance and gives you the idle you are looking for. The lobes are designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in quality .600 and .670 in. spring packs. Careful design guarantees the cams can be installed with minimal difficulty. Although piston to valve clearance should always be verified, the Stage 2 and 3 cams often allow for additional cylinder head milling.
