Stainless Works CNC mandrel-bent exhaust systems are the simply the best for improving your vehicle's performance, sound, and mileage. Made of high-grade 304 stainless steel, they offer an array of options to unleash more torque and horsepower while delivering the sound your vehicle has been lacking. Most are designed to use factory hangers. Stainless Works not only offers their Factory Connect option that mates to a factory connection point, but also Performance Connect options for many models. Performance Connect gains more performance than factory connection points allow, and they require the installation of Stainless Works headers (sold separately) to gain the full performance benefit. Stainless Works also builds their mufflers entirely of stainless steel. They will never "burn in," "blow out," or change their tone—ever. Choose from a selection of universal or application-specific muffler designs, including turbo chambered (loud), chambered round (louder—can be reversed for an even more aggressive sound), and turbo S-tube (loudest—may be too aggressive for a daily driver). Stainless Works offers turbo header kits for a variety of vehicles and applications—including fitment with AFR and Victor small block heads. In the "down and forward" turbo kits, the header flanges are made with 3/8 in. thick 304 stainless steel, and the tubing is .065 wall 304 stainless steel with 1 7/8 in. primaries and 3 in. slip-fit collectors. 3 in. V-band flanges and clamps are provided and welded on for both headers to crossover connections. Each complete system is TIG-welded and back purged for maximum performance. Kits contain headers, 3 in. x .065 wall 304 stainless steel crossover tube and 3/8 in. stainless steel turbo flange welded onto outlet. Also included: 7-gauge 304 stainless steel turbo mounting bracket, 1/4 in. thick aluminum motor plate, and 304 stainless steel downpipe with is coned from 5 in. to 4 in. diameter with a 90 degree bend and 12 in. minimum length leg on the outlet side. (Customer is required to provide 5 in. V-band flange for welding to inlet of downpipe.) Order the turbo header kit recommended for your vehicle.
