Skunk2 Racing offers Ultra Race intake manifolds for a variety of cars, including models from Honda© and Acura©. The high performance intakes are ideal for RSX/RSX Type S applications, as well as any swap using the K20A, K20A2, K20Z1, K2$A1 engines or cylinder heads. These much-anticipated Ultra Race manifolds are the result of years worth of research/development and building upon the performance legacy of Skunk2's Pro Series intake manifold. Using the latest in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software, Skunk2 Racing has created a 3-piece modular design that allows for easy disassembly, porting, and plenum volume changes through the use of a removable plenum and optional plenum spacers. The result is a design that is less restrictive, yielding both torque and power gains well over many of the competitors. Skunk2 Racing Intercooler Kits
Optimal cooling is imperative for performance and reliability, especially for turbocharged applications. Skunk2 Racing intercooler kits deliver a bolt-on solution that reduces intake air temperatures to maximize your engines performance. Factory systems with plastic end caps and smaller plastic tubing with rubber couplings quickly get drenched in heat and can result in huge power drops and poor performance. Skunk2 kits provide a 3.5 in. 100 percent aluminum intercooler that is 30 percent larger than stock, flows a higher volume of air, and acts better as a heat sink to reduce intake air temperatures. The kits also included 2.25 in. aluminum tubing to further increase airflow and aid in temperature reduction due to better heat dissipation than the stock plastic. Skunk2's Ultra Series camshafts are ideal for heavily modified engines—manufactured from proprietary, high-quality forged tool steel cores, and are CNC ground, and feature patent-pending profiles with unique lobe shapes and revolutionary lift, velocity, and acceleration characteristics. They optimize mid-range and top-end horsepower and torque, with peak power moved up the rpm band. As a result, VTEC crossover is seamless, allowing for the broadest powerband possible.
