They're universally designed to be installed on the atmosphere vent line of your vintage car, truck, hot rod, or marine fuel cells to reduce/eliminate raw fuel smells in your garage or storage. Nothing on the market is as effective as Shop 48's Vapor Trappers—and installation is easy in line with your fuel tank vent hose via practically any inlet/outlet configuration. Most commonly a -6 AN 3/8 in. barb fitting is used (sold separately), but you can also use -6 AN ORB for custom installation. You can use simple rubber-lined Dell clamps or any custom 2 1/2 in. clamp (clamps sold separately). Shop 48's Vapor Trapper fuel stoppers are a specialized fitting that is installed to the vent line and acts as an intermediary between the fuel tank and the Vapor Trapper. In the event you have a full tank, and you come to a sudden stop, this well help prevent any gas from jumping up inside the vent line and working its way to the filter. This is good for installations that don't have a ton of clearance for a long vent line. While this doesn't prevent fuel from passing through, this will reduce how far the fuel jumps up and travels into the hose. Enjoy the extra peace of mind of a long-lasting, clean filter.

Mounting your Vapor Trapper has been made easier than with these billet clamps from Shop 48! This mounting solution is CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum and will look incredible in your engine bay, or wherever you choose to mount your Vapor Trapper. The clamps offer rugged mounting that won't allow the Vapor Trapper to slip out of position once secured. These clamps come in different diameters, in a choice of clear anodized or anodized black finishes. Select the clamps in the size and finish needed.

Shop 48 now offers their proprietary Vapor Trapper charcoal refill kits. This blend is used in all of Shop 48's Vapor Trapper products. These refill kits provide a firm packed fit and will hold years' worth of fuel vapor. Refilling your Vapor Trapper is not often necessary, as the charcoal media lasts a very long time, though, Shop 48 likes to provide customers with the option.
