Rough Country's steering blocks offer several potential benefits, particularly for vehicles with a 4 in. to 6 in. lifted suspension. These steering block components are designed to help maintain proper draglink alignment, optimum turning radius and can reduce steering vibrations. They can also provide increased ground clearance, which is especially beneficial for off-roading or for when using larger tires on the vehicle. Some key features and benefits of using Rough Country's steering blocks include: * Helps maintain proper draglink alignment, particularly on vehicle's with a lifted suspension * Optimizes turning radius—by restoring proper draglink alignment, the steering blocks help maintain the vehicle's turning radius, preventing it from becoming wider or more difficult to maneuver after a lift * Helps reduce steering vibrations—incorrect steering geometry can lead to unwanted vibrations in the steering wheel and overall vehicle. The steering blocks help to minimize these vibrations by ensuring proper alignment and a snug fit of the steering components * Helps reduce or eliminate bump steer issues by correcting the steering linkage geometry Important Note: It's important to remember that Rough Country recommends professional installation for lift systems, including those incorporating steering blocks, to ensure proper functioning and safety.

After lifting your vehicle it is highly recommended to install a raised steering arm like those available from Rough Country to correct the vehicles steering geometry. Due to the increased height, a vehicles turning radius can be affected. Rough Country offers raised steering arms that are specifically engineered for lifted 3-bolt open knuckle steering applications to provide a simple solution to correct draglink alignment and reduces steering vibration. This type of steering system is common in certain older Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs. These raised steering arms offered by Rough Country have been designed to be a direct replacement part for the factory arm in these specific vehicles. Benefits of corrected geometry using raised steering arms: * Improved turning radius—by restoring the proper steering angle, the raised steering arm can help maintain the vehicle's full turning radius, which can be reduced by a lift kit * Reduced bump steer to correct the steering geometry * Enhanced handling—properly aligned steering improves the overall feel and responsiveness of the vehicle's steering, leading to a more confident driving experience

Rough Country's frame support kits are designed to reinforce the frame of older GM trucks, specifically around the steering box mounting area, to prevent or repair cracks and improve steering stability. They are especially useful for vehicles that experience frame flex or cracking due to stress from off-roading or heavy use. By reducing frame flex, the frame support kit can lead to more precise and responsive steering. These frame support kits consist of steel brackets that bolt onto the frame and are then to be welded in place, creating a stronger, more rigid structure. Product Overview: * Durable steel frame supports designed for older GM trucks * Repairs cracks where the steering box mounts to the frame * Helps prevent future cracks from forming and can also be used to repair existing cracks * Designed to fit factory-style steering boxes on older GM trucks and may require minor modifications for custom or modified frames * Welding required for installation

Keep your axle tight and centered with Rough Country's forged adjustable track bars, available for a wide range of vehicles—including Jeep, Ford, and RAM stock or lifted trucks. These replacement bars are nearly twice the weight of your factory track bar to deliver unparalleled support and the ultimate peace of mind in any driving situation. They're forged from steel, offering considerable strength over DOM tubing and other less durable designs. The bars also feature durable rubber bushings and a beefy construction that will dwarf stock equipment. Once installed, Rough Country upgraded track bars keep steering nice and tight, and promote vastly improved handling even under pure off-road torture. Track bars are crucial driveline components that center the axle under the vehicle and limit side to side movement. When a vehicle is lifted, it extends the distance from the axle to the frame mounting point. A stock-length, factory track bar isn't long enough to compensate for this distance and is forced into an odd angle that leaves the vehicle wildly off-center. Rough Country's forged adjustable track bars and included track bar brackets solve this problem, helping you recreate the original track bar angles while accommodating the new lift height. With a 100 percent bolt-on installation process, they're easy to install and fully adjustable on the vehicle; meaning no trial-and-error lining it up, and no more wasted time just to dial in your bar and center your axle. Simply measure the distance from your bump stop to the edge of your tire tread on both sides, and crank the track bar by hand until the axle is perfectly centered.
