Reid Racing bellhousings are cast from high-strength 6061 T-6 aluminum and are heat-treated for additional toughness. These bellhousings pass stringent SFI 30.1 certification and are approved with no external shields required. The bellhousings feature an open bottom for easy converter access, a reduced diameter for better floorboard clearance, and a contoured mounting flange to properly match the rear of the engine block. No special flexplate is required. They are available for the Reid Racing Superglide and Super Hydra 400 transmissions.

Plus, their precision machining and perfectly aligned bores minimize power loss while maximizing reliability. They have also reworked the oil passages for improved lubrication of the yoke and rear bearing.
