Raybestos offers PG Plus Professional Grade wheel hub repair kits for the three-generation wheel hub assembly units: Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3. Each unit is designed to OE specifications and is tested for endurance, temperature control, hydraulic/salt resistance, metallurgical integrity, and vibration. This helps to ensure that the Raybestos hub assemblies deliver an extended service life with quiet, safe, and consistent performance. Generation 1 units are double-row contact ball bearings with a split inner ring that allows each ball bearing to rotate independently. They do not include a hub, which must be purchased separately. Gen 1 features and benefits include: * Tapered or ball design * Double-row bearing with angular bearing contact for axial stability * Pre-lubricated with an integral lifetime seal * Maintenance-free * Maximized bearing life * No preloading required * Compact size Generation 2 is Raybestos' middle step in hub development. They feature a flange that mounts directly to the brake and wheel mount—eliminating the need to purchase a separate hub.
