Radium Engineering Direct Mount Fuel Pressure Regulators

The Radium Engineering Direct Mount Regulator (DMR) is a compact high performance adjustable EFI fuel pressure regulator designed with a unique highly versatile mounting system. It can be mounted directly to a compatible fuel rail port using the included 360 degree swiveling adapter, or mounted remotely away from the fuel rail. The compact size fits in areas with limited space without sacrificing performance. This regulator is safe to use with all gasoline and ethanol blends of fuel. The main inlet port on the regulator is female threaded for 6 AN ORB. A swiveling double-ended adapter is included with the kit that allows the regulator to be used in any compatible 8 AN ORB fuel rail port, such as those found on Radium Engineering fuel rails. The return port on the bottom is threaded for 6 AN ORB. The provided 90-degree 6 AN male fuel return fitting can swivel 360 degrees, permitting a multitude of mounting configurations. Other adapter fittings can be installed in the return port if needed (sold separately). Unlike the previous generation, this DMR has two 1/8 in. NPT side port locations that can be used with a pressure gauge, transducer, temperature probe, etc. Two 1/8 in. NPT plugs are provided. Fuel pressure is dialed in using the preloaded set screw on top of the regulator. Two interchangeable orifices are included with calculated flow diameters to match the fuel pump flow to the regulator. This permits the DMR to be used with practically any horsepower engine. This added precision will resist diaphragm flutter and optimize pressure stability. This design has been tested to regulate over 1,200 liters per hour. What's included: * Fuel Pressure Regulator (black or green anodized top) * Swiveling inlet adapter fitting (for 8 AN ORB fuel rail) * PTFE impregnated 1/8 in. NPT plugs (x2) * 6 AN male swivel (for return line) * Return orifices (silver orifice pre-installed)

Radium Engineering Fuel Pump Hangers

Radium Engineering fuel pump hangers permit the use of one, two, or three aftermarket pumps in the stock MK4 Toyota Supra (JZA80) fuel tank. Features include: * Drop-in OEM replacement * 8 AN male pump outlet * 6 AN male return inlet * Fuel starvation protection * High current electrical hardware * Compatible with various pumps (Walbro, AEM, etc.) * Anodized aluminum construction To simplifying aftermarket -AN hose plumbing, the 10 AN ORB threaded feed port features a low-profile 8 AN male fitting, and the 8 AN ORB threaded return port features a low-profile 6 AN male fitting. To reconnect the OEM return and vent hoses, 8.5mm barb fittings are also included. No permanent modification to the OEM fuel tank access cover is required. The custom designed stainless electrical studs easily handle the high current demand that compact bulkhead connectors lack. These serviceable connections are properly sealed and impervious to all standard and exotic fuels. The low-profile design keeps all wiring tucked nicely underneath the OEM fuel tank cover using the provided foam insulation. Nonconductive acorn nuts are provided to prevent any accidental short circuits. The high quality in-tank wiring is insulated with chemically resistant ETFE. Electrical hardware is included for the fuel pump(s), OEM level sender, and OEM temperature sensor. One issue with all Supra fuel pump hangers is the lack of fuel starvation protection. In these kits, the flow from the FPR return line powers a Radium jet pump. Using a venturi-effect, this "mechanical" pump draws fuel from outside the sub-tank and distributes it directly to the pump inlets.

Radium Engineering Fuel System Pulsation Dampers

The opening and closing of fuel injectors create pressure pulses in the fuel rail which can lead to unstable fuel pressure. To achieve a safe and consistent rail pressure, a fuel pulse damper (FPD) is often necessary. Radium Engineering fuel system pulsation dampers feature an internal diaphragm that will absorb oscillating pulses and stabilize fuel pressure. This correction can be measured throughout the rpm range and can often help idle surge, especially with high-flow injectors. They also help solve erratic lean air/fuel ratio spikes, commonly experienced as "stumbling", that are difficult to tune out. Kits come with different male adapter fittings. Choose the proper one for your fuel feed hose. Features: * Anodized aluminum housing with a large 0.69 in. center bore * Two in-line inlet/outlet ports machined with 3/4 in.-16 UNF threads for 8 AN ORB fittings * At 1.98 in. tall, the FPD-R can be used in space-constrained applications * FPD-R base pressure requirement equals 40 to 70 psi (static) * Includes adapter fittings which seal to the billet housing using Viton® O-rings * An 1/8 in. NPT female port is threaded into the center of the fuel pulse damper * Safe for use with all fuel types, including alcohol blends such as E85 * Vacuum/boost reference port allows for proper performance even at elevated fuel pressures

Radium Engineering Fuel Pulse Dampers

The opening and closing of fuel injectors creates pressure pulses in the fuel rail which can lead to unstable fuel pressure. In order to achieve a safe and consistent rail pressure, a Radium Engineering fuel pulse damper (FPD) is often necessary. The FPD's internal diaphragm will absorb oscillating pulses and stabilize fuel pressure. This correction can be measured throughout the RPM range and often help idle surge, especially with high-flow injectors. A fuel pulse damper can also solve erratic lean air/fuel ratio spikes, commonly experienced as "stumbling," that are difficult to tune out. What makes Radium FPDs unique?: Along with having the flexibilty of using common fittings, Radium Engineering FPD's use a vacuum/boost reference port which allows for proper fuel pulse damper performance even at elevated fuel pressures. This becomes essential for boosted systems that use a 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Features: The anodized aluminum housing features two selectable threaded male fittings. The 8 AN ORB version seals using a FKM O-ring, while the 3/8 in. NPT variation seals with the tapered pipe threads. * The FPDs can be mounted at any possible angle including upside down. For best results, the damper should be mounted directly onto the fuel rail(s). These products are safe for use with all fuel types, including alcohol blends such as E85. (Not recommended for the low-pressure side of mechanical fuel pumps.) Included: * Anodized and laser engraved aluminum top, R=range or XR=extra range * Anodized aluminum body with male threads, 8 AN ORB or 3/8 in. NPT * Stainless steel hardware * Rubber vacuum hose, 4mm I.D. * Vacuum hose Y-fitting

Radium Engineering Fuel Surge Tanks

Radium Engineering offers fuel surge tanks in a variety of styles—including with two or three fuel pumps, and for gasoline and/or flex fuel. A fuel surge tank (FST) is designed to prevent fuel starvation to the engine on vehicles with inadequate fuel tank baffling. Fuel is supplied to the surge tank by a lift pump, which in most cases is the OEM in-tank fuel pump. The volume of fuel inside the surge tank acts as a buffer to always keep the FST pump(s) supplied with fuel, even if the lift pump starves momentarily. This volume is maintained by the lift pump as well as the fuel returning from the fuel pressure regulator. Excess fuel in the surge tank is returned back to the vehicle's main fuel tank. The surge tank also provides a quick and easy way to upgrade any standard fuel system without opening the stock fuel tank. This is an excellent fueling solution for vehicles installing large demand power upgrades such as forced induction.
