All liquid-filled gauges are affected by temperature and atmospheric changes, with the air and liquid inside of the gauges expanding and contracting with these changes. An internal pressure buildup will affect your reading. The internal gauge pressure must be the same as the environment in order to get a true reading. This is why all liquid-filled gauges are equipped with bleeder valves to equalize the internal pressure to that of the environment. QuickCar has taken a new approach to this issue and has made more user-friendly gauges. These gauges feature an interior diaphragm that automatically adjusts to these changes, so no manual equalization is necessary! QuickCar liquid-filled tire pressure gauges are offered in 20, 40, and 60 psi versions.
