Limiting straps are vital in custom suspension setups that help prevent damage to suspension and drivetrain components. You can prevent damage to your shocks and CV joints with PRP limiting strap kits. PRP has put together limit strap kits with hardened bolts that are longer than OEM, along with new washers and powdercoated spacers for the limit straps. The limit straps are PRP quad-layer (4-layer) straps, which have been proven over the years with Trophy Trucks and Class 1 buggies. Kits are available for front and rear applications.

As you travel down the road, your trailered vehicle floats up and down on the suspension, enabling any tie-downs attached to the frame to loosen and tighten as the vehicle moves. The solution: attach directly to the tires which have almost no movement since they are grounded to the trailer. PRP Seats SpeedStrap heavy-duty tire bonnets run around the sides and over the top of the tire, keeping the vehicle secure and grounded to the trailer for the duration of your journey. The top strap has three size slots, so it can adjust to fit approximately 28 to 40 in. size tires.
