For years, POR-15 customers have asked for a thicker version of their world-famous POR-15 for filling in seams or holes. Here it is! POR Patch is, quite literally, POR-15 in a tube. Like POR-15, it dries as hard as a rock, remains flexible, and once dry, is totally impervious to fuels and solvents. It's so tough that it actually adds strength to weakened metal and it won't absorb moisture and swell like conventional body fillers. Try it yourself--it's incredible!

POR-15 Metal-Prep provides the best adhesion for POR-15 on any surface, including aluminum and shiny polished metal surfaces. The simple process gently etches metal, creating an ideal anchor pattern for coatings such as POR-15, while simultaneously leaving a zinc phosphate coating to ensure the chemical bonding of paint and steel. Avoid other preps that may leave harmful residues which prevent proper adhesion. After thoroughly degreasing work piece, apply environmentally safe Metal-Prep to neutralize any rust and etch any clean bare metal for better adhesion of POR-15 or other paint. POR-15 Powermesh fiberglass cloths are manufactured from a special reinforcing fabric that can be used with POR-15 Rust Preventive paint to bridge gaps and repair holes in sheet metal. Do not handle these with your bare hands—gloves are required to protect you from the fiberglass cloths.
