OTB Gear valve covers will add a retro look to your vintage rod! These valve covers are cast in a premium A-356 alloy, using modern CNC precision tooling to assure a quality product. The casting is heat-treated to correct any warpage that can occur on a lengthy component during the cooling process. The gasket surface is then CNC-machined to assure an absolutely flat surface to eliminate oil leaks. Each valve cover includes a 1/2 in. thick aluminum spacer, gaskets, and hardware. OTB Gear offers their valve covers in tall or short versions, different finishes, and mounting location options. Additional details of OTB Gear valve covers include: * Finned design on valve covers allow for easy cleaning * Fin tops, as well as the valleys between have the same radius * All visible areas of the valve cover are polished and easy to keep that way * Also raised areas for the breather and hardware are ramped to make cleaning that much easier * Each valve cover comes with rubber grommets for mounting bolts (also a rubber grommet for the use of breather with 1 in. shaft) * Valve covers are slightly wider to cover the (four) perimeter mounting holes on the 235 head * Available in polished or shot blasted finishes * To mount 216 style valve cover on a 235 or 261, a stud kit is required to change mounting hardware location (sold separately)

OTB Gear remote canister oil filters are indeed a striking and compact update on an old concept. They can be plumbed through the bottom or backside surfaces, which will reduce your oil line clutter. These units use a commonly available spin-on type oil filter (provided) and 3/8 in. NPT fittings (not included). Each filter is drilled and tapped for 3/8 in. mounting hardware and comes with two plugs to cap off the unused fitting holes. OTB has taken these 1940s classics and reintroduced them with improved features that make them better and safer.
