MustangSteve Brake Booster Mounting Brackets

MustangSteve offers brake booster mounting brackets to assist you with your power brake conversion on 1965-1966 Ford Mustang's. This do-it-yourself parts kit includes the firewall bracket plate, a newly redesigned pedal pin, plus the instructions. The custom-fabricated steel plate is for modification of your pedal support. This strengthens and changes the bolt pattern to fit a Fox Mustang type booster. The redesigned pedal pin installs on existing brake pedal to achieve the proper revised pedal ratio.

Additional details:

* This conversion fits 1965-66 Mustangs with automatic transmissions—these kits will fit standard if you have cable or hydraulic clutch only
* This is a proven design that works well and is the only system that mounts the booster directly on the firewall and has a revised pedal ratio
* Kit includes detailed instructions with pictures, including CAD-drawn template for minor firewall and pedal support mods and revision of brake pedal (pedal support and pedal not included)
* Kit uses Fox Mustang 4-cylinder booster or 80 Fairmont booster, or MustangSteve provided booster of the same design—that way you can always find a replacement booster in the future (booster not included)
* A list of all Ford vehicles that used the booster you will need for this conversion is included (booster and master cylinder not included—shown in pics for reference only—this allows you to source booster in a salvage yard or rebuilt, or new)
* This kit will also work on 1965-1966 F-100 Ford Pickup with minor firewall modifications
* Does not work with manual transmission using the factory Z-bar clutch linkage
