Depending on the application type, they come with all necessary hardware, including U-bolts, nuts, lock washers, and a pinion nut. Replace your old gear carrier with a Moser Engineering full spool to save weight, improve performance, and increase the life of your rear-end components. The steel spools are heat-treated and precision-machined; while lighter aluminum spools are available for Ford 9 in. and GM 12-bolt units. The aluminum models feature a thicker ring-gear flange and a large-diameter midsection for increased strength; they weigh approximately 4 lbs. less than steel spools.
