Moroso aluminum Tri-Lobe dry sump oil pumps have been developed with their decades of oiling system expertise to provide you with a lighter, better performing design that will save weight and make more crankcase vacuum. They feature Tri-lobe aluminum scavenge sections with individual timing gears to ensure proper clearance at the highest rpm. The pumps use a spur gear pressure section based on Moroso's highly successful billet wet sump pump design, and variable spring rates optimize your oil pressure for smooth, reliable oil pressure readings. Moroso Tri-Lobe dry sump oil pumps have multiple -12, or -16 AN scavenge outlet options, weigh about half as much as gerotor pumps, and take up to 40 percent less power to drive.

Moroso dry sump oil pumps are the safest, most dependable oiling systems available. They're popular in all forms of racing, especially where low chassis height is important for good handling. Horsepower gain is maximized because there is virtually no oil in the pan and no internal pump, allowing the windage tray or screen to run the full length of the pan. Other advantages of a dry sump system include a remotely mounted oil tank for increased capacity, the ability to easily add remote oil coolers, more consistent oil pressure, adjustable oil pressure, improved scavenging, and increased ring seal due to greater pan vacuum. These Moroso fabricated aluminum valve covers have thick billet rails for superior gasket sealing and resistance to warping. They mount through tubes welded directly to the valve covers—to help maintain gasket-rail flatness and prevent leaks. The covers feature a tall design that will clear all rocker combinations, as well as stud girdles. Some models have built-in oilers to keep valve springs cooler in oval track racing.
