Mittler Brothers rear-end narrowing tool kits are designed to narrow your vehicle's rear-end for racing or street rod applications using precision-made tools. They include a 1 1/2 in. diameter turned, ground, and polished shaft that is passed through the trimmed rear-end housing (not included) and the inner bearing blocks. This ensures the accurate, square, and true, reinstallation of the housing ends. The kits feature a pinion centering plate and a variety of alignment blocks for specific housing ends, including Ford 9 in., Ford 8.8 in., 10-bolt GM, 12-bolt GM, Dana 44, Dana 60, and 8 3/4 in. Chrysler.

These round tube alignment rings are available in configurations to fit specific housing ends on select Ford, GM, or Dana applications. A 1 1/2 in. by 60 in. line up bar is passed through the trimmed rear-end housing and these outer bearing blocks. This assures the accurate, true, and square re-installation of the housing ends. Mittler Brothers dimple dies add enhanced appearance and strength to your panels. They're engineered to flare or flange, and will work panels of 0.125 in. thick mild steel and 4130 chromoly material. Machined from steel with a black oxide finish, they produce a 45 degree flare/dimple angle. You can choose individual dies or purchase them in several sets that are available.
