Out of the box, the Mac's PiVOT attaches to most 2- and 4-carburetor intake manifolds to make engine installation a breeze. Now, with these PiVOT engine lift adapter plates, you can use your Mac's PiVOT on a wide range of engines that don't have a common carburetor base flange for attachment, from the Ford Flathead 8 to the GM LS9. Unlike using chains or other bulky engine lift solutions, the adapter plates are designed to fit compactly against the engine, significantly reducing the risk of contact with engine compartment surfaces and wires. The small footprint of each adapter, coupled with the fine tilt control of the Mac's PiVOT, gives you unprecedented control during an engine install, making even the most challenging installs a one-man job. Each engine lift adapter plate attaches to the Mac's PiVOT using the same four Grade-8 bolts (included), so a single PiVOT with multiple adapters is all you need to work with the most popular engine families. You can use the Mac's PiVOT on its own to pull an old flathead, then attach the Ford Coyote 5.0L adapter to the Mac's PiVOT—and you're ready to complete your install. It's that simple! Constructed from 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. steel, Mac's designed each adapter to take advantage of the best attach location for that engine. Their "plate-style" adapters are designed to attach to the "intake valley," while "cradle-style" adapters attach to the cylinder head exhaust ports. Mac's ratcheting utility packs securely hold your bike or ATV in place for the ride, without scuffs or scrapes. They come complete with your choice of 6 ft. or 10 ft. ratchet straps rated at 2,800 lbs. minimum breaking strength—more than enough strength for the biggest bike. The S-hooks on each of the tie downs are encased in a full coat of thick, ruggedized vinyl.
