Use Longacre Racing toe-in gauges to get very accurate toe-in measurements within 1/32 in. Simply jack up the front wheels and scribe a true running line on the face of the tires. Place the gauges in front of the tires and align the pointers with the scribe lines. Then move the gauges to the rear of the tires and align the fixed end with the scribe line. On the other end, loosen the thumb screws and move the slider until the pointer aligns with the other scribe line. Now, read the exact toe-in on the scale. They're quick, easy, and accurate.

The mini chassis checker tool is quick, accurate, and easy-to-use. Though, this tool may not be designed to measure height dynamically as you work and won't measure height while your car is on scales, since tool must be removed to read, it will however serve as a great replacement for 'step' type tools. To get dimension chassis height, simply push the mini chassis height checker tool under the car, raise the tape with the knob, pull tool out, and read the height.
