They feature a heavy-duty steel construction with cast head and can handle 1/8 in. to 1/4 in. aluminum and steel rivets. They utilize cushion grip handles with a double compound actions design that provides maximum leverage and include a handy collection bottle for easy disposal. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering AFM/DOD delete block plug tools include 24 rivets and are essential for plugging the AFM/DOD holes in GM Gen IV and V V8 engine blocks that aren't going to be using Active Fuel Management or Displacement on Demand in order to avoid internal oil leaks and oil pressure problems.

Designed to work on C6, C5, F-bodies and all LS1 powered vehicles, they are crafted of billet aluminum and incorporate a steel roller bearing trunion for ease of operation. They work with any 3/8 in. hand ratchet; simply add a 3/8 in. extension for valve springs which are difficult to reach (under cowl), and will work on factory conical valve springs, along with aftermarket 1.25 O.D. spring/retainer sets.
