Kooks Headers Race LS engine swap headers are available for a variety of specific chassis or as universal-fit designs. Offered in shorty, mid-length, and long tube versions in a choice of diameters and styles (varying by application), they feature stainless steel construction and include installation hardware. Kooks Headers long tube headers are heavy-duty and crack-resistant, featuring large diameter stainless steel construction (most applications) with smooth-flowing mandrel-bent tubing. They include gaskets, bolts, and oxygen sensor extensions where required. Also available as kits with connection pipes, depending on the application, Kooks long tube header kits include individual connection pipes, a Y-pipe, X-pipe, or H-pipe to connect to the exhaust system. X-pipes are used primarily for high-rpm performance and race applications. H-pipes create lower end power and are used on street cars for increased performance with a comfortable sound level. The Kooks Headers Super Street Series headers are a huge improvement over the stock pipes, with large primaries, collectors, and 3/8 in. flanges for sealing superiority. These headers are meticulously made and fit precisely into the engine bay of your ride. In addition to perfect fit, the headers are constructed from 304 stainless steel, which provides rust resistance throughout the life of the product. Super Streets are designed to be a direct-fit replacement for the factory manifolds, bolt right up to the factory pipes, and will provide a proven horsepower increase and corresponding torque gain throughout the powerband. No cutting or welding is required for installation. These headers were designed with performance in mind and weigh significantly less than the factory manifolds.
