Improved Racing CCS Oil Catch Can Kits
Improved Racing set out to design the best air-oil separating catch cans specifically for the factory supercharged vehicles. Focused on three simple design goals: maximized efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the development of the CCS oil catch cans happened over several years and included ANSYS Fluent CFD simulations, extensive bench tests, and on-vehicle street and track tests. Final prototype testing also included a 9-month beta testing program in collaboration with various road racers, drag racers, and drifters. The CCS's design maximizes air-oil separation efficiency, resulting in a peak separation efficiency of 85 to 90 percent. For comparison, none of the competitor's catch cans tested showed a peak efficiency of more than 60 percent. Improved Racing Remote Oil Filter Mount with Thermostat
Relocate your oil filter to a more convenient location with a remote oil filter mount with thermostat from Improved Racing. Built-in thermostat allows for quicker warm-up times and prevents the oil cooler from over-cooling the engine during street driving. These units are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and feature a black anodized finish. They are very useful in high performance vehicles where, quick, easy access to the oil filter is desired.

Improved Racing Oil Filter Sandwich Plate with Thermostat
Improved Racing offers oil filter sandwich plates with thermostats in all the popular oil filter thread sizes for easily plumbing an oil cooler to your engine. Their built-in, rebuildable thermostat bypasses the oil cooler until the oil has reached its maximum operating temperature, allowing your engine to warm-up quicker and prevent oil from being over-cooled. They also allow a small percentage of fluid to continually circulate through the cooler, eliminating air pockets and preventing cold fluid from being trapped in the cooler and shocking the system. Improved Racing oil filter sandwich plates with thermostats also feature a filter bung machined from hardened 410 stainless steel for excellent durability. Improved Racing Crank Scraper and Windage Tray Kits
With the installation an Improved Racing crank scraper and windage tray kit, you'll enjoy additional horsepower and improved oil control from your factory 3.622 in. or aftermarket 4.000 in. stroke LS engine. They reduce oil starvation by closely following the contours of the crankshaft and connecting rods to remove excess oil, ensuring oil is quickly returned to the bottom of the sump. The kits also reduce parasitic drag and windage losses caused by excess oil on the crank, reducing rotational mass and providing dyno-proven gains. Scraper/windage tray kits are available for most factory and aftermarket oil pan setups, and include a crank scraper (CNC-machined from 0.190 in. thick 6061-T6 billet aluminum) and aluminum windage tray (made from 5052-H32 aluminum) that provides more clearance for aftermarket rods than factory windage trays. The windage tray bolts directly to the scraper with self-clinching lock nuts instead of the main cap studs, so they can be installed without disturbing the alignment of the scraper.
