Howe introduced the first Steering Quickeners in 1986 and they've been a favorite of racers ever since. With a weight of only 3.04 lbs. and durable heat-treated internal gears and shafts, they can be used to either speed or slow the steering response in your race car. These units install easily anywhere on the steering shaft with a GM spline U-joint or coupler.

Howe billet pitman arms are made to replace the stock pieces that are now out of production. Each arm comes pre-bent for the proper ackerman and bump steer when used with a Howe centerlink and idler arm.

Howe's Quick Bump tie rod ends offer all of the advantages of their precision tie rod ends—plus the ability to quickly adjust the bump steer. They're easily rebuildable and adjustable to eliminate play. The alloy steel ball studs are process-coated for low friction and long wear. These tie rod ends eliminate bump steer shims and offer more misalignment than other rod ends. Both studs are threaded to screw directly into either the rack or spindle and are held in position with a jam nut. Using a 3/8 in. Allen wrench, bump steer adjustments can be made swiftly to save you valuable time. Howe Raing Quick Bump tie rod ends are designed for race purposes and are not intended for highway use.

Howe billet idler arms are built tough to last, easily adjustable, and rebuildable. To adjust height for bump steer, simply loosen the pinch bolt and turn the adjusting nut. They are available for fitment on multiple applications. Replace weak OEM idler arms with the strength and quality of Howe billet idler arms.
