The Factory Race Series 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks from Fox Racing Shox use the same race-proven, position-sensitive damping technology as their external bypass shocks raced on trophy trucks, in a compact and hassle-free package. While Fox 3.0 shocks are larger than stock, they're lighter because of their aluminum bodies and reservoirs vs. the heavier steel bodies and reservoirs of stock shocks. Fox Racing Shox offers Factory Race Series 1.5 Zero IQS shocks for a variety of applications, including many late-model Ski-Doo snowmobiles. These lightweight Intelligent Quick Switch (IQS) kits are tuned specifically for harder backcountry riding with less fatigue, without compromising durability. The coil-sprung shocks are known for their range of control and supple ride through the chop and crust. This system is a peerless suspension package tailored specifically for your mountain sled. The electronically controlled suspension system allows you to adjust the performance of your sled in under a second. Depending on the conditions and terrain, tune your sled to provide optimal control and comfort in any situation. Never take a break to adjust suspension again, thanks to iQS. Fox designed the coil-sprung mountain shocks with two primary objectives: weight reduction and ride performance. They optimize the 1.5 Zero coil-sprung shocks through material reduction without a sacrifice of ride quality or structural integrity. Additionally, the coil springs were redesigned to retain the same spring rate but with fewer coils and are built from a lighter steel alloy. The shocks maintain a linear feel regardless of temperature fluctuation, which keeps your sled setup quick and simple. The new coils result in a spring with the same performance at half the weight. Fox's position-sensitive damping technology, with origins in desert truck racing, is now applied to the Factory Race Series coil-sprung shocks. Spiral grooves inside the shock allow the oil to flow around the main piston, reducing damping force in the ride zone for a plush feel. The bypass grooves terminate through the final 30 percent of the travel, forcing oil to only flow through the main piston and providing a significant increase of bottom-out resistance to cushion any hard hits. Fox iQS is an electronic modal damping control system. This system comprises a Bosch Electronic Control Unit (ECU), custom wiring harness, and electronically actuated valves integrated into each shock: The 3-button switch mounted to your handlebar puts you in command of four unique shock modes. Each mode changes the character and balance of your sled by adjusting the compression damping of each shock. Are you scaling a near-vertical wall? Utilize lockout mode for better floatation and steering control. Lockout your rear track shock to prevent unwanted weight transfer to the rear to keep the sled planted when you twist the throttle. Worn out from a great day on the peaks and ready to motor back to the truck? Engage soft mode for a plush ride down the mountain. Between lockout and soft are settings to cover the full spectrum of riding from high-flying action to quick transitions boondocking through the trees. The Fox Racing Shox Performance Series 2.0 Podium QS3 UTV shock kit is a direct bolt-on four corner replacement for your stock Polaris General 1000 shocks and springs. Take your General from a capable utility vehicle to a full-on sport vehicle to tackle the kind of off-road terrain that'll leave you grinning ear to ear. Podium 2.0 QS3 shocks replace your stock emulsion shocks with an internal floating piston (IFP) system housed in the piggyback reservoirs to keep the gas charge from mixing with the shock oil. This prevents the oil from effectively thinning out and losing damping control as the shocks get worked over washboards, rocks, and big dips. The springs on the General's stock shocks are fairly soft to give you a comfortable ride. FOX wanted to retain that level of comfort but also keep you from bottoming out at speed over the rough stuff. Using a combination of single-rate front springs and dual-rate rear springs, they were able to ride aggressive sport UTV test trails without bottoming but still enjoy a ride as smooth as stock. The Quick Switch 3-position compression damping adjustment allows you to quickly set your shocks to adapt to your riding conditions. Set the QS3 to Setting 1 for the softest ride on smoother trails or rock crawling. Setting 2 firms things up a bit if you're carrying extra passengers or gear. Setting 3 gives you bottom-out protection when you put your foot down and catch some air off a dune or sprint off into the desert. Beyond the extra capability you gain after bolting on a set of FOX Podium 2.0 QS3 shocks, you'll have peace of mind knowing that they're ruggedly built with hard-anodized aluminum bodies and reservoirs that resist corrosion, 5/8 in. hard chromed shafts for smooth operation and longer seal life—and they're fully rebuildable if you ever damage a part or want to get them custom-valved for a specific riding application.
