After some modification, his “slingshot” manifold helped his flathead Ford set a new quarter mile record. Word got around about this manifold, leading Edelbrock to go into manufacturing after the end of World War II. As Vic and his successors continued to chase increased performance, his company spread into new markets. Intake Manifolds: The first thing that comes to mind when you hear Edelbrock is intake manifolds, and for good reason. Edelbrock has been perfecting intake manifold design since the very beginning, using the best tools available. Whether you are looking to improve performance and driveability, towing, all-out high rpm performance, or something in between, Edelbrock has an intake manifold for your engine.

Carburetors: An Edelbrock carburetor isn’t just a great performer. It’s also designed to be easy to tune. Most tasks, including float bowl adjustments and needle swaps, can be done without draining or removing the unit from the engine.

Cylinder Heads: Edelbrock added cylinder heads to their product offerings in 1986. You'll find these single-plane manifolds on oval tracks, in drag racing, and on NASCAR engines--anywhere that maximum horsepower and torque are needed. Edelbrock Victor II EFI Chrysler HEMI intake manifolds are designed for the later model Eagle or WT versions of Chrysler 5.7L, 6.1L, and 6.4L Gen III HEMI passenger car engines (with stock fuel injectors). They are similar in design to the early factory 6.1L SRT models but incorporate a wider plenum with long tapered runners, increasing airflow to the head, and relocated injector bosses to decrease port restriction. Edelbrock Victor tunnel ram top is for use with 4500 series carburetors and their Victor Tunnel Ram base manifolds only. Edelbrock Glidden Victor Spider intake manifolds are specifically intended for use on 375 c.i.d. and higher HO drag race engines. They were developed in conjunction with noted drag racer Billy Glidden to complement the flow characteristics of fully ported 18 and 15 degree cylinder heads. The intake manifolds use either 4150 or a 4500 Series Dominator carburetor flange and dividers that have been pulled back to increase plenum size and shorten the runners for improved high-rpm performance.
