This combination boosts torque over a wide rpm range, from idle to 5,500 rpm. Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake Manifolds
Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds incorporate race-winning technology that's been used on Victor Series competition intakes for years. The open air space from the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. So, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler all the way to the heads, which produces a denser charge for more power. Runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 rpm higher than Performer Air-Gap manifolds, from idle to 5,500 rpm up to 1,500 to 6,500 rpm.

These single-plane, high-rise manifolds are arguably the most popular and flexible manifolds in racing today. You'll find them on oval tracks, in drag racing, and on NASCAR engines because they boost power where these engines need it the most--from 3,000 rpm to 8,500 rpm. Edelbrock Performer 4.3L T.B.I. V6 Intake Manifolds
Edelbrock Performer manifolds are designed for street 1987-94 Chevy V6s with factory throttle body injection. They provide outstanding throttle response and torque increases. They accept all factory accessories and hardware, and your throttle body stays in its stock location. A computer chip is available at no charge and is street-legal for 4.3L trucks (E.O. #D-215-21). Return the postage-paid card that comes with the manifold to receive the chip from Edelbrock.
