You do not have to use a new firewall when you install new floor pans, but all DSM floorboards have at least one matching firewall. This often makes for a more professional installation. Although DSM complete floor kits do not normally require trimming, some may because every car is different. Floors usually include six or seven pieces and if the main floor panels are not in the exact spot DSM used when they produced their templates, some trimming will be required.
