Direct Sheetmetal Toeboards

Fabricated out of 16-gauge (.060 in.) cold-rolled steel, Direct Sheetmetal toeboards are hand-formed in DSM's shop. Like all Direct Sheetmetal parts, they are designed so the average hot rod enthusiast can install them in their own garage or workshop. Some Direct Sheetmetal toeboards come in kits that include 18-gauge (.048 in.) cold-rolled transmission covers and extensions.

Although DSM toeboards do not normally have to be trimmed, some may because every car is different. Direct Sheetmetal makes their toeboards to overlay other parts so trimming is OK. Since it's harder to add material than to trim it, in this case, bigger is definitely better.
