The Diode Dynamics SSC2 backlit ditch light kits will allow you to easily mount two SSC2 backlit pods above the hood. Featuring higher output intensity than any other 2 in. light on the market, these LED pods have been designed for maximum functionality with custom-engineered TIR optics shining in highly useful beam patterns—all in a durable package. Product highlights: * Diode Dynamics Stage Series 2 in. SSC2 LED Pods (sold as a pair) * Durable powdercoated aluminum casting construction, polycarbonate lens, and rubber gasket * Kit features a low-profile design and will not interfere with raising or lowering the hood * Modern TIR optics for the highest intensity on the market—offered in Combo, Flood, SAE Driving, SAE Fog, and Spot beam options * The custom engineered TIR optic in the Stage Series 2 in. pods collects all of the light from the LED and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency * With functional patterns—all Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with optical simulation modeling to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern—no matter what your auxiliary lighting needs are * Polarity specific * Backlighting feature in your choice of amber, red, blue, and cool white (6000K)—backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products * Application-specific brackets are CAD-designed to install using factory mounting points, no cutting or drilling required * Brackets are full stainless steel and won't corrode over time, and with thick-gauge construction, reduces vibration or bouncing while driving * Integrated Deutsch-style connector provides simple connections * Pin-fin heatsink design * Durability tested: SAE J575
