Using computer modeling and on-road testing, DSE has engineered complete and comprehensive kits that include everything you need for the install. All you need to do is follow the instructions and supply the grease. The main features of these robust Detroit Speed upper control arms are the CNC-machined stainless steel cross shafts fitted with their caster tuner bushings--aluminum bushings that adjust caster by moving the upper control arm fore/aft for more or less caster, without adding alignment shims. And without shims, this unique adjustment design for camber control is precise and permanent. The arms are TIG-welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability of geometry. They are positioned between the rear wheel tubs and should be mounted through the trunk floor pan to provide additional shock travel when ride height is lower than stock. Detroit Speed adjustable leaf spring pads are used when installing a new rear-end housing or when relocating your leaf springs to accommodate a larger rear tire. They clamp to any 3 in. axle tube. Simply locate and center the axle housing, set the pinion angle and leaf spring positions, and then clamp them in place. The Detroit Speed adjustable pads are compatible with 2 1/2 in. wide leaf springs.

These frame notch brackets are manufactured from high-quality thick steel and powder coated black for added durability and include mounting hardware and bump stops with C-notch template. Faulty suspension operation? The problem could lie in your shock mounts, causing the shock absorbers to malfunction. If that's the case, make an upgrade with Detroit Speed's mini-tub lower shock plates! These plates come in an electroplate finish and work great when mini-tubbing the rear of your vehicle for larger rear tires. Because mini-tub plates do not have the same bolt pattern as stock sprint plates found on most axle housings, they can be used with Detroit Speed's adjustable leaf spring pads and U-bolts (sold separately). These mini-tub lower shock plates are available in either staggered inboard, staggered outboard, or for shocks on the same side of the rear axle.
