DC Sports shifter bushings are designed to eliminate unwanted deflection in the GR Corolla's factory shifter. During hard shifting, the factory rubber bushings in the lower portion of the shifter allow movement and flex. That flex can be eliminated by removing the rubber bushings and installing DC Sports solid mounts. It stiffens up the shifter base, which helps improve the shifter feel and gear engagement. DC Sports also designed an O-ring and groove to help hold the bushings together while you install them. Combine these parts with direct link cable bushings for better shifting performance.
