With them, you'll pull harder, start faster, won't foul the plugs, and it'll idle great, too. Daytona Twin Tec's TC88A-EX ignition kit 3088 includes: 1009-EX/TC88A-EX ignition module, 2008 coil, 3002 wires, and 18014 USB interface. Components are a direct-fit, plug-and-play for all 2004-06 carbureted Harley-Davidson© Twin Cam 88 engines and Sportsters. Product details: * Compatible with all aftermarket tachometers * Built-in data logging, stores the last 30 minutes of operation * Easy to access and adjust the four rotary config switches * Supports all OE sensors, including the instrument cluster, turn signal/security module (TSM/TSSM) and the J1850 data bus * Wide timing advance adjustment range accommodates stock to highly modified engines * Digitally set RPM limit (100 rpm steps from 3000-9900 rpm) * Coil outputs protected against short circuits * Extensive diagnostics * Billet aluminum housing with black anodized finish Additional notes: * Twin Cam engines utilize a non-adjustable crankshaft position sensor. This means that mechanical timing adjustments are no longer possible. The 1009/TC88A allows you to adjust your initial timing +/- 4 degrees using a rotary switch. A second switch sets the advance curve slope. The combination of these two switches allows the user to optimize the timing advance for a wide range of applications, from stock to highly modified engines. * The 1009/TC88A also features built-in data logging that stores data in an endless loop for the last 30 minutes of engine operation—including RPM, vehicle speed, manifold pressure, ignition advance, and battery voltage. Engine builders will find the data logging feature highly useful for tuning, diagnosing problems, and reducing unjustified warranty claims. * Like the H-D© OE module, the TC88A sends RPM data to the OE tachometer over the J1850 data bus. TC88A units also provide an optional 12 V square wave tach signal (one pulse per revolution) that is compatible with most tachometers intended for 1999-2003 Twin Cam 88 applications. This allows you to retrofit a wide range of tachometers to newer 2004-06 models.
