Davis Unified Ignition now offers International D.U.I. distributors--compact, one-piece ignition systems--for your International V8 and 4-cylinder engines. These D.U.I. distributors are designed to be virtually water, mud, and vibration-proof, with the electronic components protected inside of the distributors. And setup is easy--run one 12 V hot wire to the D.U.I.s, and you are ready to go! A tach hookup is also provided. They feature a 50,000 V coil and a high-output Dyna Module that work together to produce a longer duration spark, allowing the spark plug gaps to be opened up to a whopping .055 in. The larger spark plug gap burns the fuel mixture more completely, giving you more power. A hotter spark also keeps your plugs cleaner longer. Every D.U.I. is hand-assembled to exact tolerances--there is no mass-production. The units are calibrated on a distributor machine with a super-smooth advance curve, providing you with instant throttle response and more power, while eliminating damaging detonation. Davis Unified Ignition Mini VIP Voltage Step Up regulators will step up your charging system's 14 Volts to 18 Volts, which are sent to your ignition system to provide your engine with the ultimate spark combustion. The 18 V produced by these regulators enable you to open up your spark plug gaps to a whopping .070 in. The larger gap and hotter spark burns fuel more completely on each piston stroke. Voltage drop is eliminated, as these Mini VIP Voltage Step Up regulators isolate the power to your ignition system only. Plugs stay cleaner and some applications will be able to run a richer fuel mixture due to the additional spark intensity.
