CP Pistons Chrysler Diesel Piston and Ring Kits

CP Pistons Chrysler diesel piston and ring kits are forged from 2618 material with tapered pin bosses for increased strength and to match Carrillo's connecting rods. All pistons are hard anodized to withstand extreme heat and provide additional scuff resistance. Pistons come standard with a coated steel 1/16 or 2mm thick top ring, 1/16 or 2mm seconds, high-tension 3mm 2-piece oil ring, steel 5115 pins, .082 Kramm Lox, and radius oversized valve reliefs for increased valve lift. Available individually or in sets, choose the ones with the attributes needed for your Cummins. Key features: * Extra deep valve pockets * 100 percent hard anodized for improved heat and scuff resistance * Custom skirt design for less piston rock in the bore for improved wear—only requires a minimum piston-to-wall clearance on non-filled blocks * Forged side relief and milling for reduced weight * Large dish top radius and blended radius into pockets * Non-undercut radius bowl * Radius valve reliefs to reduce hot spots * Thicker 2nd land for additional strength and top ring support * Broached pin oilers for improved pin oiling and added strength over traditional forced pin oiling * Steel bushing
