COMP Cams Xtreme Energy DLC hydraulic flat tappet lifters are quality yet inexpensive performance-proven lifters available in hydraulic and solid for multiple applications. These tappets feature a Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) face that forms an extremely hard, tough, and high-lubricity surface to reduce friction at the cam lobe/lifter interface, extending lifter and camshaft life significantly. The lifters maintain the excellent performance expected of a COMP product and are available for Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Ford, Chrysler, and AMC applications requiring flat tappets.
