For the majority of vehicles, Cometic gives you the economical option of ordering either the top-end or bottom-end gasket sets--and if you want a complete kit, you just have to order one of each. However, some engines, such as the Subaru EJ series, may require full replacement, Street Pro gasket kits are available with every gasket or seal you could possibly need when doing any level of engine work. That includes head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, spark plug O-rings, intake manifold gaskets, and more. If you're rebuilding a motor, or just like to have an assortment of replacement gaskets and seals on hand, these kits offer the most value for your dollar.

Cometic MLS head gaskets are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for strength and contain load-controlled embossments that conform load distribution across the sealing area. This creates an exceptional seal by requiring less clamp load—resulting in less bore distortion. The stainless steel outer layers utilize FKM (Viton®) rubber coating, a high-temperature and chemical-resistant polymer. A topcoat of PTFE aids in resistance to fret and increased cold sealing.
