Chevrolet Performance LS 376/525 LS3 Long Block Crate Engines

Chevrolet Performance has released its latest factory-engineered LS high-performance engine: the 376/525 LS3 long block. It blends the racing-derived ASA camshaft with the LS3 6.2L production engine to create the most powerful production-based crate engine in Chevrolet Performance's portfolio, delivering 525 hp at 6,200 rpm and 486 lbs.-ft. torque at 5,200 rpm. (For installation in older vehicles, the engine controller kit part number 19354332 is calibrated specifically for this new engine.) Using the LS3 production engine—the same used in Corvettes and Camaros—as the foundation for the LS 376/525 helped keep the retail price lower; while the ASA camshaft is a proven, power-building component that's been successful in the high-RPM world of Circle Track racing. The ASA camshaft is a hydraulic roller with .525-inch lift on both the intake and exhaust sides, along with 226 degrees duration on the intake side and 236 degrees on the exhaust side. Coupled with a tight, 110-degree lobe separation angle, it helps the engine deliver excellent throttle response and breath exceptionally well at high RPM. Chevrolet Performance's 525 RLB is based on the LS engine family and is like the 6.2L CT525 but sold as a sealed long block for universal racing sanctioning bodies. The high-revving 525 RLB crate engine is assembled with strong forged pistons and heavy-duty connecting rod bolts designed to support its performance capability and enhance its durability. With its deep-breathing LS3 rectangular-port cylinder heads, it is a combination rated at 533 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a strong 477 lbs.-ft. of torque at 5,200 rpm, when used with a 4-barrel carburetor and intake manifold, per Chevrolet Performance testing. The engine assembly comes with coil-on-plug ignition and an SFI-certified balancer, along with a 6-quart racing oil pan and more. The hot new small block V8 in the GM lineup is the hyper-aggressive LS3 6.2L 376 c.i.d. 495 hp engine assembly from Chevrolet Performance. It offers a high-revving 376 c.i.d. combination that represents generations of small block V8 development and engineering. Not only is the LS3 an amazing engine in its stock configuration, but with those high-flowing rectangular port cylinder heads, the LS3 is loaded with potential. To tap into this, the engineers at GM Performance Parts offer you the LS376/480—an LS3 with an upgraded camshaft that boosts power by a whopping 50 hp! The LS376/480 comes with the same great features as the LS3 crate engine. The bottom-end includes a 6-bolt aluminum block, nodular crank, high performance rods, and 10.7:1 pistons. Chevrolet Performance 6.0L 366 C.I.D. L76 Remanufactured Crate Engines

Whether you're looking to build a reliable engine for towing and hauling or want the foundation for a high-performance build, the Chevrolet Performance 6.0L 366 C.I.D. L76 Remanufactured Crate Engines are a great starting point and at a more affordable cost. These crate engines boast a number of features and benefits. Each engine is tested to meet or exceed GM's original equipment specifications. Additionally, every component is inspected and replaced if necessary. As a result, these remanufactured crate engines provide excellent value and dependability. Specific information (instructions): The replacement crate engines are built with two different designed oil pans. Differences are the first design oil pan has threaded hole for oil level sensor; the second design oil pan is without hole for the oil level sensor. Transfer oil pan from original engine or procure new, if required. For C/K Trucks, G-van applications, the oil pan on the replacement engine has been upgraded with a new oil deflector (shield) installed over a new oil pressure relief valve. If transferring the original oil pan to the replacement engine transfer these new components to that oil pan. --Transfer crankshaft balancer, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, sensor wiring harness and bracket from original engine or procure new. --Install new crankshaft balancer bolt that is included with engine assembly. --Refer to instruction sheet for general/detailed information and instructions on components that are required to be transferred from the original engine assembly or procured new. --Transfer crankshaft balancer, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, sensor wiring harness and bracket from original engine or procure new. --Install new crankshaft balancer bolt that is included with engine assembly. The replacement engine is built with a first or second design oil pan. The first design pan has a threaded hole for applications equipped with an oil level sensor. The second design oil pan is for applications that do not use an oil level sensor; no threaded hole. Transfer oil pan from original engine or procure new, if required. The replacement engine is built with first or second design valve rocker arm covers. The first design valve covers do not use quick connect PCV tubes. The second design valve covers use quick connect PCV tubes. Transfer valve covers from original engine or procure new, if required. The replacement engine may use rivet-type plugs in place of the coolant air bleed covers located at the top rear of each cylinder head. In applications that contain the rivet-type plug, it is not necessary to install the coolant bleed covers. For LS4 Applications, transfer the A/T flywheel/flexplate locator that is pressed into the rear hub of the crankshaft from the original engine or procure new. For C/K Trucks, G-van applications, the oil pan on the replacement engine has been upgraded with a new oil deflector (shield) installed over a new oil pressure relief valve. If transferring the original oil pan to the replacement engine transfer these new components to that oil pan. For 2007 Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon Denali applications w/6.2L L92: Engines prior to April 2006 were built with AFM (Active Fuel Management) hardware components, but the AFM system is not enabled on the 2007 L92 engine. The replacement engine does not contain the AFM hardware; it includes a valley cover that is used in place of the VLOM (valve lifter oil manifold). Do not transfer AFM hardware to replacement engine.
