Chevrolet Performance rectangular port dual-plane intake manifolds are for those who honor the tradition that states: If you're going to make power with a big block Chevy, you have to use rectangular port heads. These intakes have two separate plenums which accept air/fuel from the carburetor—ensuring less overlap between induction pulses. The result is a cleaner pulse, particularly at low rpm. Chevrolet Performance manifolds are constructed to deliver superlative airflow and horsepower, and can be used with high performance aluminum or cast iron heads.

Chevrolet Performance Oval Port Dual Plane Intake Manifolds

High-rise Chevrolet Performance oval port dual plane intake manifolds are the latest in dual plane design thinking and technology. They're intended for all big block Chevrolet 396-502 c.i.d. engines with either current oval port aluminum heads or 1975 and earlier large oval port iron heads. They're set up for a single 4-barrel and have dual bolt patterns on the carburetor flange. There is no provision for hot-air chokes, and they will not fit some Corvettes with limited hood clearance.

Chevrolet Performance Parts' ZZ4 intake manifolds are designed for use on all ZZ series 350 HO engines, but can be used on any small block Chevrolet through 1986. They're about .5 in. lower than an LT1 manifold, for better underhood clearance, and can mount either a standard-flange Holley 4-barrel or a spread bore Quadrajet. They develop the same power as the earlier high-rise design, plus they're set up to accommodate EGR, a hot-air choke, and all late model accessory brackets.

Chevrolet Performance's ZZ632/1000 deluxe long block crate engines are their biggest and baddest big blocks! They start with a tall deck Sportsman Bowtie block and an all-forged roller assembly, then add a hydraulic roller camshaft and high-flow spread-port CNC-machined cylinder heads derived from Pro Stock racing technology. The RS-X design cylinder heads feature symmetrical ports to produce similar power from all eight cylinders. ZZ632 crate engines have a crank-trigger ignition system with coil-near-plug ignition coils mounted on a unique valley plate. Chevrolet Performance ZZ502 C.I.D. Deluxe Long Block Crate Engines

Here, at last, is the king of all big block crate engines from Chevrolet Performance. These 502 cu. in. engines are available unassembled or fully assembled. Each version makes extensive use of aluminum to keep weight down—including aluminum heads, intake, water pump, and valve covers. Additionally, ZZ502 c.i.d. deluxe long block crate engines are full of heavy-duty parts, such as: forged aluminum pistons, forged shot-peened steel connecting rods with 7/16 in. bolts, forged steel crankshaft, 14 in. automatic transmission flexplate, 4-bolt main blocks, stainless steel valves, 6 qt. oil pan, and windage trays. The complete Chevrolet Performance engine kits come with Gen 6 four-bolt main blocks with one-piece rear main seals. Hydraulic roller camshaft specs are: .527 in. intake lift, .544 in. exhaust lift; the duration at .050 in. for intake is 224, and 234 for exhaust with a 112-degree lobe centerline. Other features include a single roller timing chain, aluminum large oval port, and 110cc combustion chambered heads. Intake runner volume is 290cc; stainless steel valves are installed, with 2.25 in. intake side and 1.88 in. on the exhaust side. Valve springs are rated at 140 lbs. closed and 368 lbs. open, good for up to .680 in. lift. These heads have exhaust crossovers. Aluminum high-rise dual-plane square bore bolt pattern intake manifolds and an 870 cfm carburetor are also included.
