Specifically designed for power adder and diesel applications, these rods utilize the same proven 4340 material and ARP 2000 or L19 fasteners. Strength was added by thickening up the flanges of the H-beam and a reduced depth-of-cut towards the center of each rod, then non-essential weight is taken out of the beam to help keep the overall weight of these Xtreme rods in check. Callies Ultra Assassin connecting rods are produced from specially formulated Timken Steel 4330V grade steel. The material is precision forged in Michigan and machined in the Callies Fostoria, Ohio facility. The Assassin Series are near-net, as-forged rods with minimal machining, and are fastened by high-alloy cap screws made specifically for severe-duty service by ARP Inc. To eliminate deformation and extrusion only AMS 642 bronze alloy is used within the wrist pin housing bore.

Callies Ultra XD connecting rods are configured to provide greater flexibility in cam selection for your stroker engine build. Their canted housings allow a larger lobe/base circle/lift camshaft to be selected. Callies Ultra XD connecting rods provide greater rod to cam clearance to improve valvetrain performance. In most cases, Ultra XD rods will provide approximately .050 in. more cam clearance than Callies conventional Ultra rods, and substantially more than many competitors' rods. These rods are machined from premium Timken 4330 steel and are intended for severe-duty applications.

Callies Mopar engine blocks are Officially Licensed Mopar products. Together with Energy, Callies will manufactured and distribute cast iron engine blocks and components. All parts manufactured will carry authentic Mopar part numbers and be produced from original Mopar molds, cores, and engineering data. The Mopar blocks are being offered in different bore sizes in finished and RoughBore (RB) versions.
